WideOrbit Adds Phil Antonson as Director of Professional Services

WideOrbit Inc. announces Phil Antonson has joined the company as Director of Professional Services. WideOrbit’s Professional Services division has seen strong growth over the past year as clients are focusing on process and production efficiency improvements, investing in their human and application resources through training, consolidation opportunities, station and channel additions, and custom development. Phil’s leadership and efforts will improve WideOrbit’s ability to respond to client needs. WideOrbit drives the business of selling advertising - maximizing advertising profitability and sales efficiencies. Media companies around the globe rely upon WideOrbit software to manage their entire sell side advertising business from order entry through collections. WideOrbit software simplifies and automates the sales, traffic and billing of advertising and enables a wide range of advertising mediums today and in the future. In addition to his role of managing WideOrbit’s Professional Services Team, Phil will draw on his previous experience working with cable interconnects and MSO’s to assist in the business development and sales of WideOrbit’s Cable Interconnect product. This product has already been successfully deployed at Adlink, the nation’s leading interconnect, as well as at several other interconnects and MSO’s. Phil brings to WideOrbit more than 17 years experience in the television industry in the areas of national broadcast, national cable and local cable. He comes to us after 16 years in the Media Division at MSA (Management Science Associates, Inc.). In his last position at MSA, Phil was Account Group Director and managed a team of product and account managers responsible for new business development for MSA’s Media division.
