Infoblox Inc., the automated network control company, today announced that Tim Colby, Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales, has been named one of UBM Tech Channel’s CRN 2013 Channel Chiefs. This prestigious list of the most influential and powerful leaders in the IT channel recognizes those executives directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organization, while evangelizing and defending the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT Industry.
The increasing demands put on networks by mobile devices and bring-your-own-device programs, virtualization and private clouds, and the transition to IPv6 have created greater complexity and risk. Customers are turning to Infoblox for solutions to gain control of their networks, reduce this complexity and risk, and achieve business agility and efficiency. In January 2013, Infoblox introduced new products to give customers greater control of their networks, including Infoblox DNS Firewall, Infoblox Security Device Controller, and Infoblox Trinzic 100 Network Edge Services Appliance.
The Infoblox Channel IP (Invest & Profit) program focuses on providing partners with the tools and resources to deliver new services to their clients to help manage growing network complexity and risk. Since the launch of Channel IP in February 2012, Infoblox has trained over 350 networking and security engineers and 250 Sales Professionals. The company will continue to evolve its relationship with the partner community to help build Infoblox champions, boosting leverage and mutual profitability.
For over ten years, Channel Chiefs were selected by the CRN editorial team based on channel experience, program innovations, channel-driven revenue, and public support for the importance of IT Channel Sales.
“The 2013 Channel Chiefs list recognizes vendor executives dedicated to driving channel programs in the IT marketplace,” said Kelley Damore, Senior Vice President, Editorial Director, CRN. “Our annual Channel Chiefs issue is a must-read for IT solution providers evaluating new vendors or looking to expand solution offerings. These are the people, the products and the programs that any savvy solution provider needs to know. We congratulate this year’s Channel Chiefs for their stellar record of business innovation and applaud them for their continued dedication to the partner community.”
Selected by CRN's editorial staff, the 2013 Channel Chiefs list is featured in the 2/25/13 issue of CRN Magazine and will be featured online at www.crn.com.
“What has made the Infoblox channel program so successful is that we make serious commitments to empower our partners – focusing sharply on our 70+ Elites across the world and their Solution Architects – to help enterprise IT departments manage the ever-growing complexity in their networks,” said Tim Colby, Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales, Infoblox. “Since starting the Channel IP program last year, we have consistently heard from our channel partners that they have been able to strategically advance their business and customer stickiness with Infoblox.”
