Global corporations often rely on voice-over-IP
(VoIP) communications to collaborate across distributed offices. Sumifru

Silver Peak Virtual
Acceleration Open Architecture (VXOA) software employs a variety of
tools to ensure toll-grade voice quality over the WAN, including
advanced quality-of-service (QoS) techniques, forward error correction,
and traffic shaping. The Silver Peak VXOA software also improves jitter
over congested WANs, reducing it to less than 1 millisecond (ms) on
average. This enables enterprises to deliver optimal VoIP performance

resources needed for optimal performance. The company also benefits from
optimized POP and SMTP traffic, where the bandwidth utilization has been
improved 90%. Similarly, Silver Peak VXOA software improved bandwidth
utilization for dozens of other applications by more than 30% in total.
