NEW YORK, Jan. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- EasyVista Inc. (www.easyvista.com), a global leader in cloud-based IT Service and Asset Management, announced today the appointment of Andrew White, an IT Operations Management and cloud thought-leader, as the company's new Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
Mr. White, a noted expert in IT Operations Management, is renowned for ground-breaking cloud based IT management product and marketing strategies throughout America, EMEA and APAC.
Andy White has a proven track record of driving product and marketing strategies that are highly tuned to the challenges organizations are facing in the new era of cloud, mobile and virtual IT. He arrives at EasyVista from BMC Software (NASDAQ: BMC), where he most recently served as Area Vice President of Marketing. White joined BMC Software through its acquisition of Numara Software, a global leader in service, asset, and mobile device management for IT professionals, where he served as the company's Vice President of Marketing based in North America and prior to this role, Commercial Vice President of EMEA and APAC based in London.
"Andy is a creative and technically astute expert within the IT Operations and Cloud industry. He is a leader with a clear vision of the market needs and the challenges our prospective customers face. This is a critical and exciting time for EasyVista and Andy's proven track record of driving world-class product roadmaps, acquisition strategies and high performance global marketing teams is a necessity as we race toward the next generation of IT Operations Management. We are delighted to welcome Andy," said Sylvain Gauthier – Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to Numara Software, White held senior commercial positions at FrontRange Solutions (California), Mitel Networks (Ontario) and Motorola (Illinois).
"EasyVista has experienced tremendous success in the past few years, most recently securing a position in the coveted GARTNER magic quadrant for IT Service and Support Management. They have clearly focused diligently on the quality of the back office operations of their cloud based IT Operations Management platform. This investment and passion for excellence is now translating into some very significant customer wins," said White. "Customers are really frustrated with fragmented IT management solutions that do not scale, integrate or indeed automate many of the mundane tasks. IT has its own 'Digital Fiscal Cliff' with Mobility, Virtualization, Cloud and big data challenges on the horizon and I see EasyVista leading the market in converged IT Operations Management – The Broker of Service," continued White.
EasyVista Inc., a leading provider of IT Service and Asset Management software, has more than 20 years of experience as a pure player in the IT Management space. EasyVista is ITIL verified and covers all aspects of IT Operations Management in a single, integrated solution.
