OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 01/16/13 -- The public warning issued on January 9, 2013 has been updated to include additional products.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Peak Performance Products Inc. are warning people with allergies to peanut not to consume certain Dymatize Nutrition brand Elite Gourmet products described below. The affected products contain peanut which is not declared on the labels.
The following Dymatize Nutrition brand Elite Gourmet bars, product of USA, are affected by this alert:

There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to peanut.
The importer, Peak Performance Products Inc., Toronto, ON is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
