Osaka, Jan 15, 2013 - (JCN Newswire) - Robert Walters PLC (LSE: RWA), the award-winning global specialist recruitment consultancy, recently expanded its specialist contract recruitment service nationwide to businesses in Osaka and the Kansai region. The Group's Osaka contracting team leverages one of Japan's most extensive databases of qualified professionals and offers temporary (haken), temp-to-perm (shokai yotei haken) and fixed-term (keiyaku) contract recruitment, in addition to its established permanent recruitment services.
The Osaka contracting team will initially assist both Japanese and foreign multinational businesses with sourcing bilingual administrative, secretarial and business support professionals. The Group plans to offer additional contract recruitment functions in the future in areas such as IT, amidst growing demand for bilingual contractors. Robert Walters Japan added Osaka contract manager Teruhiko Hayakawa to lead the newly created team who brings over 12 years' contract recruitment experience to the role.
Hayakawa comments:
"For globalising Japanese companies and established foreign firms, we have found a considerable gap between the strong demand for qualified, bilingual professionals and the difficulty with effectively sourcing this talent. By offering contract recruitment services in Kansai, we are able to assist firms with adding resources for seasonal workloads, maternity leave or other long-term absences. This expansion is a natural extension of both our successful permanent recruitment teams in Osaka and our established contract business in Tokyo."
