CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 01/11/13 -- Digital event marketing agency bXb Online today announced the formation of its Founding Destination Partners Group (Founding Partners) in an initiative designed to accelerate the reach of physical events to online attendees globally. The solutions encased in this partnership will increase the reach of the Founding Partner cities' customers' events, adding value to each city as a host destination. In addition, the Founding Partners will receive preferred placement of client content distribution through BOBtv -- Best of Business Television -- powered by bXb Online. The first destination marketing organization (DMOs) to join the Founding Destination Partners Group is Dallas, TX. Additional cities will be announced in the coming weeks.
Founding Destination Partners will offer bXb Online's full range of digital event marketing solutions -- from consultation and planning to onsite production -- to help organizations create and implement their digital event marketing strategies. Further, each Founding Partner's client base will have the ability to disburse content across bXb's BOBtv, an online industry platform of quality aggregated content and community, organized by industry. Currently in late-stage development, BOBtv will further their clients' brand and reach well beyond the content distribution options available today.
"Becoming a Founding Destination Partner with bXb Online will allow us the opportunity to enhance our customer experience while expanding the attendee experience," said Phillip Jones, president/CEO of the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau. "Dallas has undergone a dramatic transformation in recent years and we intend to lead the discussion from our vantage point in order to benefit our customers," said Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau CEO, Phillip Jones.
Tony Lorenz, Founder of bXb Online, stated, "Dallas as the first Founding Destination Partner is in its own way leading innovation in meetings and events. They recognize that online extensions will showcase their city as a destination to global audiences as those events take place. We value Dallas' vision and partnership as we continue to drive this category forward to benefit our entire industry."
