LOS ANGELES, Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - Kent Speakman, a Hollywood producer named to the iMedia Top 10 Hottest Digital Marketers of 2011 list, is announcing a new social media network called "fameus" which will service an unprecedented networking platform for users working in the entertainment industry.
Co-founders Mike Kahn Jr., Jason Stecker and Brandt Weisman hired Speakman to join the executive team and produce "fameus" because of his unique expertise as a producer inventive technology and film.

Fameus users will have the opportunity to foster relationships by using www.fameusUSA.com and it's mobile app for smart phones and tablets. Currently in the private beta phase, "fameus" is allowing select industry elite to sample its features before the official release, which is expected this spring.
The benefits of the application include functionality for all creative and business professionals in film, television, music, fashion, art, and public relations.
The website and mobile app will feature an exclusive entertainment industry specific job search engine. Users may post and search job listings, receive email alerts, and find information about industry events and contests.
After requesting an invitation to join and receiving approval from administrators, users can create a profile complete with their biography, resume, photos, videos and audio tracks, then connect with other users, send messages, add contacts and access Twitter, Facebook and Google+ feeds.
Speakman, a Canada native, has distinguished himself as one of entertainment's chief enterprising producers. He hosted a panel discussion about the future of mobile apps and television at the 2011 Toronto international Film Festival with "Entourage" star Adrian Grenier and Trevor Doerksen, CEO of MoboVivo.
He's the Founder of Speakman Entertainment, a film and television production company, and is the co-Founder of Engageia Agency, a Finalist for Best Social Media Agency at the 2011 iMedia Agency Awards.
Speakman is also an Advisory Board Director for iKapital, a distribution company that served as a regional distribution partner for films such as "Avatar," "2012" and the "Harry Potter" franchise.
