Confio Ships Ignite For Java Performance Tool
Solves Performance Bottlenecks In Java Applications Dependent On Oracle Databases
Jul. 21, 2006 11:00 AM
Confio Software, innovator of Wait-Time based performance and monitoring tools, announced the release of Confio Ignite for Java, software to find and fix performance problems in Java applications built on Oracle databases. Part of the Confio Igniter Suite, Ignite for Java complements Ignite for Oracle to expose the steps causing application delays.
Using Confio's Wait-Time methodology to isolate the performance problems with the greatest end user impact, Ignite for Java shows the delays in every step in a Web-Java-Oracle request. Ignite is unique in showing the Oracle DBA the exact application steps causing performance delays in the Oracle database.
"Ignite for Java is unlike any other tool in the way we expose the performance interaction between the Java application and the Oracle database," said Matt Larson, founder and CTO of Confio Software. "We show the DBA the true source of performance problems, even if the cause is in the J2EE application."
Ignite for Java is available for Java applications running on J2EE application servers including BEA Weblogic, Oracle Application Server, IBM Websphere and JBoss.
The Igniter Suite is used successfully by enterprises worldwide to solve their toughest application bottlenecks at the database level. Now Ignite for Java extends this capability up to the application layer, exposing exactly where in the end-to-end request the delay occurs.
