AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 12/28/12 -- Texas Disposal Systems and Garden-Ville are now accepting Christmas trees for recycling free of charge from December 26, 2012 to January 1, 2013. There are six drop off locations for Austin-area and San Antonio residents and businesses.

Texas Disposal Systems (TDS) offers its recycling services to a wide variety of customers: residential (cities, HOAs, MUDs), commercial, school districts, rural subscribers and individual citizens. "The goal is to make it easy for anyone to recycle their Christmas trees at this time of year," says TDS Marketing Director Jennifer Gregory. "TDS recycles the trees by grinding them and adding the re-purposed material to our mulch operation Garden-Ville. New mulch and composts can be purchased at Garden-Ville retail locations."
