NEW YORK, Dec. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Harwood Feffer LLP (www.hfesq.com) is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of Compuware Corp. ("Compuware" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: CPWR) concerning the proposed acquisition the Company by Elliott Management Corp. ("Elliott") in a transaction valued at approximately $2.3 billion.

On December 17, 2012, Compuware announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which the Company will be acquired by Elliott. Under the terms of the agreement, Compuware shareholders will receive $11.00 in cash for each Compuware share owned.
