BANGALORE, December 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

The concept of fancy date like a triple date of 12/12/12 had begun with parents knowingly or unknowingly conceiving in the month of March 2012 and those who are closer to the December 12th date wanted to have their baby born on a special date.
According to Dr. Kishore Kumar, CEO & MD of Cloudnine hospitals and also a Practicing Neonatologist & Paediatrician, "The perception that this date will not be available in the century again makes parents to opt for 11/11/11 or like for this year 12/12/12. However it is of utmost importance that the health of the mother and baby is to be considered at all circumstances.
Any pregnant woman who had a planned induction of labour or C-section for maternal reasons and their delivery date is close to a fancy date like 12.12.2012 - then we allow them to pre- or postpone by a day or two if it is having no adverse effect on the mother and baby's health. Sometimes we have by chance natural delivery too which comes as the surprise entry for all of us at the hospital and of course coincides with the fancy date."
