PHOENIX, Dec. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- American National Medical Management (ANMM)  has announced it will donate funds and support at their annual holiday fundraiser, to assist service members who have been injured in the line of duty.  All proceeds from the charity celebration will be donated to the nonprofit organization Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), and will support a range of programs and services for this generation of injured veterans and their families.

Over 47,000 servicemen and women have been injured in the recent military conflicts.  In addition to the physical wounds, it is estimated as many as 400,000 service members live with the invisible wounds of war including combat-related stress, major depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.   Another 32,000 are believed to have experienced a traumatic brain injury while on deployment.

WWP's 18 programs and services are uniquely structured to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement.

Friends, family, and affiliates of ANMM will come together for the holiday charity event on December 8^th in Phoenix, Arizona to show their support, dedication, and to raise further awareness for the brave men and women of WWP.
