IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) today announced the winners of the 2012 IEEE-SA Awards revealed at the annual awards ceremony on Sunday, 2 December 2012, at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick in New Brunswick, N.J.
IEEE-SA Awards are presented to members and non-members in recognition of their outstanding standards development participation. The 2012 IEEE-SA categories and winners include:

In addition, more than 200 members of individual working groups were presented with IEEE-SA Working Group Chair Awards for their important contributions to published IEEE standards and their participation in the standards development process. Members of the working groups also received International Joint Working Group Chair Awards, recognizing the contributions they made between IEEE and either the ISO, IEC, or ISO/IEC during the development of a standard.
