There are telltale signs that the mobile POS revolution has arrived, but it has yet to evolve into mainstream retail. Until now, the idea of launching a mobile POS application has required an executive conference table debate, due to the complex and expensive road to get there.
Building on its portfolio of channel partners, Conductiv Software Inc. has announced a strategic alliance with Ingram Micro. According to Conductiv Software’s CEO and Chairman Rob Loughan the new relationship will level the mobile POS playing field for small to medium sized businesses and expand the company’s North American retail distribution of its Conductiv MPOS+ application suite. The alliance also highlights Conductiv Software’s commitment to help retailers tackle the mobile wave, rewarding their shoppers with what they want, when they want it.
Industry leaders Ingram Micro, Motorola Solutions, Zebra Technologies and Conductiv Software, together created a true out-of-the-box mobile retailing solution, one that makes it easier for retailers to get ahead of the competition with a cutting edge mobile POS application suite.
"Mobile POS is an in-demand technology – especially in the retail market where customers are demanding greater flexibility and service levels,” said Carla Cicero, executive director, Data Capture/POS Business Unit, Ingram Micro U.S. "By teaming with Motorola Solutions, Zebra Technologies and Conductiv Software, Ingram Micro is able to bring to market an out-of-the-box mobile POS solution that can scale, is easy to implement and offered at a reasonable price point by our channel partners to retailers of all sizes.”
Conductiv’s Mobile POS+ application suite is built from the ground up, to improve the retailer’s sales, profitability and customer satisfaction. Retailers can access their integrated CRM, Business Intelligence, Inventory Management and Mobile Payment solution from anywhere they choose to do business. “Small or large, retailers have to understand their customers. Teaming with Ingram Micro represents the next step to best serve those retailers through the world’s most trusted eco-system of technology resellers. Together, we are going to help retailers provide an increased level of service that today’s consumers demand,” said Loughan.
Conductiv Mobile POS+ suite is available for retailers through Ingram Micro’s certified resellers including JD Associates, Barcoding Inc., RIS and All Points POS.
