ANAHEIM, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/28/12 -- Targus Inc., maker of the world's top-selling laptop computer cases and accessories, today announced the availability of the innovative and new iNotebook for the Apple iPad and iPad mini. The iNotebook portfolio features a slim, elegant design and creates an easy-to-use solution that allows iPad users to wirelessly transfer what they write on paper directly to their iPad.
"iPad users are using their device for everything from making grocery lists at home to feverishly taking notes at school to jotting down action items at the office," said Melissa Chapman, vice president product management and marketing, tablets at Targus. "The iNotebook is ideal for people who want a simple solution for converting hand-written material into a digital format so it can easily be saved, organized, edited, and shared."
The iNotebook does not require special ink or paper. The sensor offers integrated memory, which allows notes to be captured when your iPad or Bluetooth aren't available and easily transfers them to your iPad at a later date.
The app offers an intuitive organizational structure: Notebooks, Tabs, and Pages. It also includes the ability to erase, highlight, stamp, and create text boxes. In addition, users can customize the background of their documents; add images to notes, record voice notes and organize saved files. The embedded email capability allows users to email notes, pages, and audio files directly from the app. Documents can easily be edited within the app, and users can select any pen color or size.
The iNotebook also includes a pen with integrated stylus and rechargeable Bluetooth-enabled sensor, both can be charged via USB. The sensor is designed to fit snuggly into the iNotebook portfolio and includes an indicator light to clearly communicate power and Bluetooth status. The stylish, high-quality iNotebook portfolio conveniently stores the notebook and pen when not in use. The pen is elegantly designed with modern, gunmetal accents. It includes Y-charging cable, 100-page notebook, and three pen refills.
The iNotebook is available in Black (AMD001US) or White (AMD00101US) for an MSRP of $179.99. The iNotebook App can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store(SM). For more information on the iNotebook and to purchase visit http://iNotebook.us.
