Kofax® plc (LSE: KFX), a leading provider of Capture Enabled BPM™ (business process management) solutions, today announced that a leading Western European telecommunications software provider has invested more than $850,000 to expand its Kofax solution to service an additional business unit in order to better support its growing capture and processing needs.
The customer will expand its use of Kofax Communication ServerTM to automate the capture and processing of an additional 10,000 fax, SMS, email and voicemail messages daily. Kofax Communication Server ingests email, fax, SMS, MMS, voicemail and telex communications through devices such as multifunction printers (MFPs), fax and phone systems. The software then replaces the manual processing of these communications by linking inbound and outbound communications channels and using them to automatically exchange the information between enterprise applications such as workflows, collaboration tools and repositories. This eliminates the delays and errors associated with manual input, enabling the customer to significantly increase operational efficiency and reduce infrastructure costs.
