Seclore Technology, a leading enterprise Information Rights Management (IRM) company, today announced that it has joined the Secured by RSA® Certified Partner Program to establish interoperability between Seclore FileSecure and RSA® Data Loss Prevention (DLP) from RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE: EMC). This certification signifies that an interoperability partnership has been established to help increase security for joint customers to share documents without sacrificing the document’s integrity.
“Establishing an interoperability partnership with a prestigious technology solutions provider such as RSA has always been a part of our positioning strategy,” said Seclore CEO, Vishal Gupta. “FileSecure was originally designed to be compatible across multiple platforms and the RSA certification confirms this and provides our customers with additional peace of mind.”
Seclore’s FileSecure allows enterprises to achieve the seemingly conflicting goals of security and collaboration by breaking down traditional tenets of information security via distribution control. The FileSecure service allows enterprises to customize their security measures for individual documents and projects without the hassle of constraining computers and networks. Using this framework, customers can define information usage policies, attach policies to specific pieces of information, control usage of the policy governed information and audit the usage of information.
The RSA DLP Suite is a technology that is designed to enable organizations to build processes that prevent their employees from leaking sensitive data through various channels including email, Web, USB, print ports, and DVDs. The RSA DLP Datacenter, a component of the RSA DLP Suite, is engineered to discover sensitive data and helps to enforce policies across file shares, databases, SAN/NAS storage, Microsoft SharePoint® sites, and other data repositories to reduce the risk of data loss. The RSA DLP Suite includes built-in expert policies, incident workflow, robust policy management, and comprehensive reports.
