SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of the Valley Honda Dealer's ongoing commitment to support our local military service members, each of the Valley Honda Dealers will be donating $500 worth of groceries, turkeys and/or gift cards to AZ Heroes to Hometowns this year at the "Turkey to Troops" event on Saturday, November 17th starting at 11:00am in Glendale.

AZ Heroes to Hometowns group is partnering up with local food banks to provide Thanksgiving dinner to Wounded/Injured Troops, Families of Deployed Service Members, Active Military, Guard and Reserves (all branches).

On Saturday, November 17th, a convoy of Hondas filled with donations will drive to the Disable American Veterans location, where donations will be packed and distributed to the local Military community and their families.  Valley Honda staff, and AZ Heroes to Hometown associates will be attending. Disable American Veterans facility is located at 8447 N. 61st Ave, Glendale, AZ 85302.
