Spirent Communications, the leader in testing networks, devices and services, has received Frost & Sullivan’s 2012 Market Share Leadership Award for Ethernet testing. With a market share of 30.9 percent, Spirent is significantly ahead of its closest competitor. Frost & Sullivan also recognized Spirent as the market leader in each segment (1GbE, 10GbE and 40/100GbE) that it tracks.

According to Frost & Sullivan’s recent market report, Spirent’s focus on product advancements such as density, scalability, performance, flexibility and ease of use gives the company a competitive edge over others in the sector. The continual development of the flagship Spirent TestCenter and Spirent TestCenter Live product lines has helped the company address the requirements of changing enterprise networking and service provider markets by delivering tools that validate the performance, availability, security and scalability of data center, cloud computing, and mobile broadband and backhaul technologies.
