CLEVELAND, Nov. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In honor of Veteran's Day, a free health screening and education event is being hosted today at Cleveland Browns Stadium by The Cleveland Browns, Men's Health Network, Cuyahoga County Veterans Service Commission, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Cleveland Clinic.

"Not only do attendees get to hang out at Cleveland Browns Stadium with their families, take photos from field level, meet Chomps, the Browns mascot, but they also get the opportunity to take advantage of free health screenings like EKG tests, blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, and more," stated Ana Fadich, MPH, CHES, Vice President of Programs at Men's Health Network.

The event is free and open to the public with screenings available to those 18 years and over. Health educators are on-site to discuss results and benefits of early detection of health issues with participants. Several veteran service organizations will also be onsite to assist veterans with connecting to benefits and resources. Participants also have the opportunity to meet Browns alumni players Hanford Dixon and Sam Palumbo.
