Black Box Network Services (NASDAQ:BBOX), a leading communications system integrator dedicated to designing, sourcing, implementing and maintaining today’s complex communications solutions, today announced that it was awarded a delivery order contract under the IMOD contract, in support of Program Manager Installation Information Infrastructure – Communications and Capabilities (“PM I3C2”) in Korea. The Program Directorate for Korea Transformation (PD-KT) reports to PM I3C2 and is responsible for the management of the Yongsan Relocation Plan Land Partnership Plan Increment 1 (YRP/LPP) C4I program. This project encompasses engineering, installation, securing, testing of C4I systems, and systems integration activities in support of The United States Army Garrison – Yongsan relocation. Black Box will be responsible for providing, relocating, and implementing a multitude of state-of-the-art C4I communications systems without mission interruptions. The contract, awarded by the U.S. Army Contracting Command-Rock Island, has a ceiling value of $97.3 Million.

The U.S. Army’s I3C2 program office “supports global efforts for the new Net-centric Information Technology and telecommunication systems, expansions and other modernization upgrade requirements for the Army and other Department of Defense (“DoD”) agencies.”
