Remember that on-demand version of its document-centric LiveCycle Enterprise Suite 2 that Adobe promised? The first cloud version of the thing? Well, it's here and it's called LiveCycle Managed Services EC2. It's a subscription-based version of the LiveCycle Enterprise Suite that Adobe debuted in October that uses Amazon's EC2 to deploy rich Internet applications. It's supposed to mean quicker roll-outs. It might attract smaller users in specific vertical industries. The production version is due March 8. Pricing starts around $50,000 a year depending on the modules selected.
